- How much will it cost to clean my home?
-
Every home is as unique as the homeowner. Rather than trying to base your exact price on many factors including pets, clutter, floor types, number of bedrooms, bathrooms as well as, the number of people who live there, which is what most of the other cleaning companies do – we leave this up to you to decide just what level of service you want along with a variety of optional extras. While we have a standardized formula for calculating each individual cleaning estimate in a uniform way there are just too many variables and unless we have prior cleaning history it’s almost impossible to work out something that is 100% accurate in advance and sight unseen. Since visiting your home in advance is just not practical we have devised a system that allows you to get an instant quote through our online booking system. Our online booking system is a breeze and extremely user friendly – we’ll have you booked for an exceptional service in no time at all!
- Why does the first time cleaning cost more?
-
It usually takes us longer to clean the house the first time because there are areas of the home that we will be cleaning that haven’t been cleaned in quite a while. It is our experience, and that of other cleaning companies (since they all pretty much say the same thing) that the first clean needs to be a Deep Clean. Some companies even say it takes several deep cleans or “detailed cleans” before being able to provide recurring service at discounted prices. This is because the more extensive the first cleans are the easier it is to maintain going forward and this equates into taking less time to clean on subsequent visits – when recurring service is weekly, bi-weekly, or tri-weekly.
- Do I get a better price for frequent cleanings?
-
Yes. The more frequent your cleaning, the more efficient we can be with our time and this translates into a lower cost to you.
- How many cleans need to take place before I start to see savings?
-
The first clean is always a Deep Clean for us – we have no prior cleaning history, your home may not have been professionally cleaned in quite a while, and if it was cleaned previously with another cleaning company we have no way of knowing whether they actually did a good job, and since you are on our website taking a look at what we offer the chances are you’re not so happy with your prior service provider either. Our second clean is what we call Get It Clean – this is because you are transitioning between the Deep Clean we already provided to what we call Keep It Clean which is the same as Recurring Clean. Since the pricing for Get It Clean is less than Deep Clean service you are already saving after the first clean! After the second clean you are transitioning between Get It Clean and Keep It Clean and that’s where you will see further savings!
- What optimum cleaning frequency do you propose for me?
-
Difficult to say right off the bat. It depends on the size of your home, how many live there, are there children, are there pets (particularly hair shredding dogs), your lifestyle and your budget. If you elect for a one-time Deep Clean and don’t clean again for three months, then you’re back at a Deep Clean again. If you want monthly service, then you will be at Get It Clean but with a 10% discount as a repeat customer. The reason why monthly cleanings are considered at the Get It Clean level and not at the Keep It clean level is because the house will have accumulated, by our standards, a significant amount of dirt, dust, and pet hair (if applicable) and it’s just not the same as cleaning on a more frequent basis. We will always recommend to all our customers that they elect to have weekly, bi-weekly, or tri-weekly service at the minimum – there are some customers who want service twice a week or even every day, so it’s all down to how clean you want your home to be, your lifestyle and of course your budget. The more frequent your cleaning is then the cheaper it will be to keep your home immaculate looking on a per cleaning basis.
- Why do you offer Tri-weekly service when none of your competitors seem to?
-
Frankly, we are surprised. Weekly to bi-weekly is a double time interval, just as bi-weekly to monthly is. We can understand the rationale in how it may sound to our customers however from a cleaning perspective cleaning every three weeks means less accumulation of dirt, dust, and pet hair than cleaning once a month. Our discount structure favors cleaning every three weeks over the discount provided for monthly service.
- What if your cleaning professionals are unable to complete my cleaning within the designated number of hours?
-
If, due to the unique nature of your home, our cleaning professionals are unable to complete your cleaning assignment within the amount of time requested, we may call you to ask for authorization to spend more time cleaning your home. We will inform you of additional costs accordingly before proceeding with the work.
- Do you have a pet charge?
-
Yes, we do – its $25. Homes with pets living in them are dirtier than homes without pets, it’s not a question of simply moving the pet to another room as they are residents, they mostly shed hair; and in terms of cats, have cat dander. The charge is a flat $25 as opposed to $25 per pet.
- Do you have a weekend surcharge?
-
Yes, we do – its $25. To avoid paying it simply select a weekday.
- Do you have a same day fee?
-
Yes, we do – its $30. To avoid paying it simply select a weekday. If we are unable to provide same day service then this amount will be credited to your account. Orders placed after 6 PM for the next day will display a Same Day Fee.
